I offer biodynamic craniosacral therapy and occasionally teach meditation courses.

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy (BCST) is a hands-on body therapy. It can help to resolve many health issues and supports growing resilience and regulation in the nervous system as a whole.

The treatment works with muscles, bones, connective tissues, neurobiology and the fluid rhythms that knit the whole body together. The touch tends to be deeply soothing and relaxing, however the results can be profound. Often the ‘problem’ doesn’t originate just in the body part where we feel pain. In BCST we unravel the web of tension that underlies symptoms so that healing can occur at the source.

Biodynamic craniosacral touch can also facilitate emotional integration and resolution of trauma symptoms. I am a big believer (through experience!) that the separation between body and mind is a fiction. As the nervous system’s stress responses unwind during treatment, the body can let go of stories held in the tissues, bringing insights and allowing access to more easeful ways of being.

One of my special areas of focus is the treatment of chronic pain. Prior to my career in the healing arts, I lived with a severe chronic pain condition for over a decade. Doctors couldn’t help, so I finally had to learn how to heal myself, using mind-body practices grounded in neuroscience. I now love to dance and climb mountains again, and share knowledge and guidance on this topic.
